Gout can be very painful and immobilizing, but fortunately there are the best home gout remedies which can be very helpful. If you suffer from gout, then you can try out the following gout foods:
Raw Vegetables: French beans are very effective in relieving the symptoms of gout. You can try them out by drinking half a cup of French bean juice every day for about a month. Alternatively, you can also have carrot juice, mixed with the juice of beet and cucumber,
Citric Acid: Gout is caused by the presence of excessive uric acid in the blood. Citric acid is a natural solvent of uric acid and can be found in lemon, lime, cherries and apples. A simple remedy would entail squeezing the juice of half a lemon into a full glass of water and having it twice a day.
Cherries: Apart from containing citric acid, cherries are also high in antioxidants. Have 10 to 15 cherries a day for best results.
Most diseases are products of bad lifestyle. Though gout is said to be hereditary, there is no denying the fact that an unhealthy diet can stimulate production of uric acid. Try to limit the intake of food that is high in protein.
