For long term treatment of gout, you should use home remedies for gout as well as long term medication.
As you probably know, gout is a result of the uric acid in your blood creating “crystals” at the joints’ areas. The excessive uric acid may be due to over production of the acid or due to malfunction of the kidneys.
The long term medications for gout are supposed to solve the above problems. Examples of these medications are Allopurinol which lower the amounts of uric acid produced by the body
